This paper mainly studies the high brightness LED backlight suitable for the special display industry. Firstly, by consulting with Shenzhen Longxiang Zhuoyue Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in LCD high brightness, the development status of LED backlight technology and the purpose and significance of the research are introduced; Starting from the structure of the backlight module, the principles, functions, and applications of each component were introduced; From the perspective of chromaticity, the spectrum and color coordinates of several commonly used backlight sources - white LED, RGB tri color LED, and CCFL - were analyzed, and the superiority of LED backlight was demonstrated through experimental data. Based on the above theoretical foundations, a complete design example of a high brightness white LED backlight source is used to explain the implementation of high brightness, LED driving, and heat dissipation of the backlight board encountered in the LED backlight design process. A relatively novel and reliable solution is proposed, and a series of environmental tests are conducted to simulate the complex application environment of special displays to verify the reliability of the design. By entering the laboratory of Longxiang Excellent Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, we focused on solving problems such as three color mixing, color control, and feedback. Finally, we presented the preliminary design results of the three color LED backlight system.
