As a passive display component, LCD screens require backlighting to achieve excellent display effects. If the ambient brightness is high, the backlight also needs high brightness; Otherwise, there will be light erosion, which will affect the viewing effect of the displayed content. Therefore, outdoor lighting is strong, and outdoor LCD screens generally need to reach 1000nits or more. In special circumstances such as direct sunlight at noon, higher brightness is required. The indoor LCD display screen is about 500nits, and the brightness is already sufficient. Excessive brightness is not friendly to the human eye and can also cause problems such as excessive system power consumption.
