With the development of technology, LCD screens are favored by many users due to their lack of battery radiation, large display information, and long service life. However, using an LCD screen for too long often leads to problems. What are the common problems with LCD screens? Below, the editor from Shenzhen Outdoor High Brightness LCD Screen Manufacturer will introduce it to you.
1: LCD image misalignment
The LCD display is displaced horizontally, or there is a colored, white, or black stripe with several pixels on top or bottom. Generally speaking, this situation occurs due to incorrect initialization parameter settings, which are related to row synchronization or field synchronization signals. If there is displacement or misalignment in the display position, check the line synchronization and field synchronization signal width, front and rear delay, and polarity matching of the LCD module and the LCD controller on the CPU. The most likely thing is that the delay time before and after the sweep does not match.
2: LCD large image misalignment, overlap, and repetition
The occurrence of misalignment, overlap, or repetition of a large range of images on an LCD display is generally not caused by the delay of row synchronization or field synchronization signals, and this impact can be basically ruled out. It is possible to check whether the parameters of sampling and other functions are normal, and it is also due to differences in timing or clock frequency caused by different hardware platforms of LCD screens. The first thing to do when encountering this situation is to carefully calculate the DMA transmission parameters. Other situations require specific problem specific analysis.
3: There is a blurred screen when the LCD lights up when turned on
This problem usually occurs when the backlight is already on when the LCD refreshes the first image after initialization and is not fully prepared. The solution is to correspondingly increase the delay before the backlighting during UBOOT.
4: LCD dots do not light up
There are many reasons why LCD dots do not light up, but after this problem occurs, the first step is to determine whether the LCD has completed initialization correctly. The simplest way to determine is to measure the voltage across the capacitor on the FPC of the LCM.
