Therefore, improving the performance of LCD controllers can help reduce the system's performance requirements for MCU, thereby saving costs and increasing the selection range of MCU.
At present, LCD controllers in embedded applications divide all display storage space into one display space. When displaying dynamic images, a large amount of image backup and recovery work needs to be performed.
This article proposes an idea of layering display content, dividing static and dynamic images into multiple layers for display, which can reduce MCU interface workload by more than 30%, making this new type of LCD controller very suitable for embedded application fields.
